A friend just turned me on to Campbell's Click for Cans campaign, and the Lions need Detroit's help!
Here's the deal: the NFL team that garners the most votes on the Click for Cans website during the alloted time period wins a donation of Campbell's soup to the foodbank of its choice.
How big is the donation?
Based on the winning team's official roster and stats, Campbell's will donate one can of soup for each pound of the winning team's total team weight. That's a lot of soup!
The undefeated Click for Cans champions, the Green Bay Packers, have a strong lead already - as I write this, the Packers have about 579,000 clicks, and the Lions have about 12,000 - but there's still plenty of time to catch up.
Or to win another prize: Campbell's will donate 2006 cans to the team with the greatest Click for Cans improvement over last year. So get clicking, and help conquer hunger in metro Detroit!
